Education and scientific competence
Prof. Dr. Zoran B. Pajić is a full professor at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Belgrade, where he has been employed since March 1, 1997. Below is an overview of education, professional engagement and published scientific papers.
Education: Complete studies at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Belgrade, since 1985.
Scientific level of education: Doctor of Science in Physical Education and Sport
The highest level of education was obtained at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Belgrade, in the period from 1996 to 2006:
- He obtained the diploma of Professor of Sports and Physical Education by defending his diploma thesis entitled “Sports School of Volleyball”
- He obtained his Master’s degree by defending his master’s thesis entitled “The structure of a computer-aided system for controlling sports status.”
- He obtained his PhD degree by defending his doctoral dissertation entitled “Effects of the application of inertial loads on motor, morphological and biomechanical performance of running at maximum speed”
- Diploma Senior Sports Coach of Soccer is entitled “Flexibility of Soccer Players”
- He obtained his A diploma – UEFA license on the basis of the certificate of the European Soccer Association (UEFA) and is also an honorary license holder as a long-time lecturer of conditioning for UEFA (2011)
At the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Belgrade, he currently works as a full professor in the following subjects:

Professional work
He is the creator, manager and leader of the pro-FITNESS-WELLNESS team, which implements professional monitoring, professional guidance, realization and support in achieving the goals of raising the level of health (recovery, injuries, obesity and corrective exercise), fitness and sports form, whether it is professional athletes or with younger exercisers of different sex, age or competition category.
The predominant activity in his professional work was the sports of soccer and tennis.
For many years, it has been testing soccer players and tennis players of all ages (from 6 years to seniors), which is an operational part of a twenty-year project of diagnostics, prognostics and identification of talents, as well as determining the motor, morphological, functional and psychological norms of soccer and tennis players.
The project is designed to test all age groups. He is the creator of the software and hardware expert system – “SMS – Soccer Monitoring System”; and “TMS – Tennis Monitoring System”, which are the operational support of the project.
He was a long-time first-league soccer conditioning coach with active participation in about 500 first league and international soccer matches, several qualifications for the Europa League, Champions League.

On that occasion, he coached world table tennis aces: Zoran Kalinić, Ilija Lupulescu and Aleksandar Karakašević. He completed joint conditioning preparations with the Greek national team for the 1998 World Cup in Athens.

During this period, he was a member of 22 soccer coaching staffs, which gave him extensive experience in the functioning, preparation and management of the training process of soccer players. In the soccer club “Red Star” – the winner of the European Champions Cup, the World Club Champion, he was a strength and conditioning coach from 01.08.2005 to 01.09.2008, where he twice participated in the qualifications for the Champions League and twice in the UEFA League. In the national championship, he won two double crowns:

He has been working in tennis as an expert for many years (since 1988). He worked as a lecturer at the College for Sports Coaches, on the subject of strength and conditioning preparation of tennis players, in Belgrade (1999-2004). He has written a practicum and two textbooks for the conditioning of tennis players.
In his long career, he has gained complete affirmation as a strength and conditioning coach of many established tennis players of all ages and has been a participant and/or active strength and conditioning coach in numerous tournaments and championships (the most important):
