Natalija is a former junior top 5 player. She is a member of the Serbian national team.
She won 14 ITF titles in singles, as well as 13 in doubles, this year after placing in the third round of Wimbledon, she achieved the best ranking in singles – 145th place on the VTA list.
In a great game on the Wimbledon grass, she first passed the qualifications, and then the first two rounds, without losing a set.
At the start of the main draw, she was better than the former number one tennis player in the world, Karolina Pliskova, a two-time finalist at Wimbledon and the US Open, as well as a two-time semi-finalist at Roland Garros and the Australian Open. After the match, Natalija, like Novak Djokovic, “ate a few grasses of the Wimbledon surface”. In the second round, she defeated Tamara Korpač, and in the third, after an uncertain second set, she lost to Petra Kvitova, who was ranked ninth in the world at that time.
